Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing our website or placing an order with 3DShop ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services. These terms apply to all visitors, customers, and others who access the service.

2. Services

3DShop provides professional 3D printing services including Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM), Stereolithography (SLA/Resin), and related manufacturing services. We reserve the right to refuse, modify, or cancel any order at our discretion. We will notify you promptly if we are unable to fulfil an order.

3. Orders and Payment

Placing an order

An order is accepted when you receive written confirmation from 3DShop. Quotes are valid for 14 days from the date of issue. Prices are subject to change without notice until an order is confirmed.

Payment terms

• Payment is due in full before production begins unless otherwise agreed in writing
• We accept major credit/debit cards and bank transfers
• For orders over $500, a 50% deposit may be required
• Invoices for approved business accounts are due within 30 days of receipt

Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled within 2 hours of placement for a full refund. Once production has commenced, cancellations will incur a charge equal to the cost of materials and labour expended to that point.

4. Design Files and Intellectual Property

Your files

You represent and warrant that you own or have the rights to all design files submitted to us, and that printing those designs does not infringe any third party's intellectual property rights. You grant 3DShop a limited licence to use your files solely to fulfil your order.

Our rights

All content on the 3DShop website — including text, graphics, logos, and software — is the property of 3DShop and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

Prohibited content

You may not submit designs that are illegal, infringe third-party rights, depict harmful content, or are intended for dangerous or illegal use. We reserve the right to refuse any job at our sole discretion.

5. Print Quality and Tolerances

3D printing is an additive manufacturing process with inherent tolerances. Standard FDM tolerances are ±0.3mm; SLA tolerances are ±0.1mm. Layer lines, minor surface texture, and slight colour variation are normal characteristics of 3D printed parts, not defects. We do not guarantee exact colour matching between orders unless specifically agreed in writing.

6. Refunds and Reprints

If a part is defective due to our error, we will reprint or refund at our discretion. Claims must be made within 14 days of delivery with supporting photographs. We are not liable for defects arising from your design (e.g., walls too thin to print reliably) or from misuse after delivery.

Refunds are not provided for parts that meet stated tolerances but do not fit your application due to incorrect dimensions in the design file.

7. Shipping and Delivery

Delivery timelines are estimates and are not guaranteed. Risk of loss passes to you upon handover to the carrier. 3DShop is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs, natural events, or circumstances beyond our control. Shipping costs are non-refundable once an order has been dispatched.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, 3DShop's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific order giving rise to the claim. In no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless 3DShop and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of our services, your design files, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Delaware.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
